Our project metodology

The Algotech Company uses the PRINCE 2 project management methodology or PMI project management technology, and has properly certified employees.

 PRINCE 2

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environment) is a structured project management process method. The methodology is owned by the British government non-profit organisation Office of Goverment Commerce (OGC). It was developed by more than 150 companies with long-standing experience in the field of project management, and at present, it is the most widely used project management methodology in Europe.

The methodology is process-oriented, presents a concrete systematic procedure of resolving concrete problems including responsibilities, links and project documents.

The application of an internationally recognised project management methodology brings the following benefits to customers:

  •  unambiguous and strict definition of the rights and responsibilities of the respective project participants,
  • efficient and predefined management of risks, quality and communication,
  • control over all the activities carried out in the course of the project, adhering to the principle of division into phases and division of management levels and use of uniform terminology by all the participants of a project.

PMI

PMI (Project Management Institute) is one of the leading global project management standards. Thanks to its scalability, the standard also makes it possible to manage projects of international scope.

The methodology of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is defined in A Guide to Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBoK®Guide). The standard is most widely used in the US.

Among other standards and methodologies, it is the oldest and most general one. With its scope, it aims at describing all the aspects of project management.

The application of a standardised project methodology will bring you a clear competitive advantage consisting in the transparency of the entire project process. Any changes may be resolved in a coordinated manner with a sufficient time reserve, enabling the efficient use of financial means and human resources allocated to a given project.
