Algotech supported the TELETON - humanitarian TV project

As before, this year Algotech supported the TELETON, humanitarian action organized by the Radio Television Serbia in cooperation with: National Office of the President of the Republic, Raiffeisen Bank and Belgrade Office for Child Protection. The aim of this humanitarian project is building an inclusive service center for children with disabilities.

TV project TELETON was realized on Sunday, 8th of April 2012, at 21:00on the RTS channel One. The TELETON show hosted celebrities from the cultural, media and sport life of Serbia, who responded to phone calls from the spectators and talked to them. Technical support, together with Algotech, was provided by the Telekom Serbia (by allowing calling the humanitarian number 0900/609009), as well as mobile operators MTS, Telenor and Vip, by allowing receiving of humanitarian SMS messages to number 9009 for all networks. Phone calls were charged 30 Serbian dinars per call, and 30 Serbian dinars per minute. The price of SMS was 50 Serbian dinars. All participants in this project gave up their full profit, in favor of this humanitarian project.


The funds collected will be used to build an inclusive service center in the municipality of Zvezdara. The center will contribute to strengthening the family capacities and allow children with special needs and disabilities to participate in regular social activities.
